Celebrating 40 years with a Vanilla Blue Label cake with coffee buttercream filling covered in chocolate fondant . Edible image is used for labelling. My first try, am I happy, I don’t know. When I was told to make this cake, I was 100% confident, it’s just a bottle, easy peezy, but tell you, not again, lol, it’s the most time consuming cake I would say. With any cakes, esp a carved cake, if you go wrong in carving, the end product will end up in a mess. Took me hours of carving to get to this shape, still not happy, but I had to stop there or else my client wouldn’t get any cake to eat 😀. I Need to improve a lot and focus more on fine detailing. Yes, will attain one day, slow and steady wins the race.
