Turning 18 gives you the licence of entry into adulthood. Making a cake for someone dear & near, you have lots of choices for the theme if it’s at your will. But to come to a conclusion is difficult. Finally came up with a theme, a replica of her new style, her trademark cap & hair. The cap is made out of fondant. Initial plan was to do her adidas cap but she being a die hard fan of Zayn Malik( One Direction), her aunt sugested to put his 🤞hand tattoo on the cap (meaning🤞wishing of luck to his loved one, courtesy google ) Wanted to do the hair in a different style than usually seen on cakes, so cut some fondant & drew some lines to give the feel of hair. Guess it has worked out. And my first time using SweetStamps font for the alphabets & the galmorous gold for colouring, tell you they add more depth to the cake. I am in love with it. Kindly ignore my flaws as it’s my first try of a face on the cake, not to mention I am over the moon with the final finish, thank God that everything fell in place & I could make Meena’s much awaited day a more memorable one amidst the lockdown.
